Back Into It with ISSC25and The Shabby Team Room #124!

With my monthly class out of the way and life beginning to return to normal at home I am excited to be getting back into the swing of things with my weekly card challenges.

This week I have loved the challenge over at the iSpy Sketch Challenge blog Thank you to the design team and the talented feature artist Elzbieta B.

Which I teamed up with the inspiration of The Shabby Tea Rooms Week #124 challenge "Oh-So Pretty in Pink".  For this challenge you needed to use the colours in the photo and include a flower.

I took inspiration from the tray to use the little mini doilies to replicate the wire curls. The pinks and yellows from the flowers were incorporated into my flowers.

So here is the card I made.

The papers were from  the Carta Bella - Beautiful Moments range.  I used their 6x6 paper pad together with the MFT die-namics dies (mini doily circles and mini royal roses), Marianne Design Creatables die (Happy Birthday), punch bunch medium leaves, Martha Stewart Glassene butterfly and Kaiser pearls.

All the doilies were foam dotted off the card front to highlight the intricate die cutting.

I added a little glitz with a gelly roll pen on the die cut Happy Birthday and incorporated some hand stitching.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.

Catching Up

Thank you to all my lovely followers who have been patiently waiting for my return.  Thank you also to all my Scrappy Hollow class ladies for your understanding and support over the last month or so.

So  now to a recap my classes for June and July.

The June class was a "male" focused class using the American Crafts Chap range.  Here is what we made.

My July class was "A Touch of Elegance" and we used some lovely papers from TCD.  Usually we use these papers in store for invitations but I just loved the way they lent themselves to these cards.  All were left blank so that you can customise them once you know who you are giving them to and for what occasion.  They are stunning for birthdays, engagement, wedding, sympathy etc etc.

And now for the ladies who have booked into my August class here is a sneak peak of what we are making.  In this class we will be using lovely Basic Grey papers, felt to make embellishments and of course some new die-namics dies from MFT.   Designed for older children - the tweens, not quite a little child not quite an older teen.
Thank you to everyone who has booked in, the classes are now full.  Looking forward to seeing you in class in August!
